ENCOUNTER God enthusiastically through worship and prayer

At Lighthouse, we are asking our church family to make a commitment to meet with God on a regular basis through daily devotions. We feel it is important to set aside a specific period of time, 5 days a week to hear from God on a personal basis.

Here are 6 aspects of a daily devotion that will help to keep your time with God focused and intentional:

  1. Read a brief devotional.

  2. Read a portion of scripture.

  3. Make a list of what Jesus is praying for your family (Hebrews 7:25).

  4. Listen to what Jesus is saying to you.

  5. Reflect - In light of all that is going on in your life, how does this apply?

  6. Journal - Write down what God is saying to you.

Corporate Prayer Meetings

Join us during either of our two corporate prayer meeting times as we lift our voices and hearts to the Lord in prayer.

Every Sunday Morning: 7:45am in Student Ministry Building Room 2

Third Sunday Evening of the month: 6:00pm in the Sanctuary

Intercessory Prayer

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

The simplicity of this childhood verse does not deny its power. Jesus died to make a way for all to come to repentance. We believe in the urgency of the Gospel and commit to pursuing the lost in our circle of influence.

We value intercession; think of four people in your life that do not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior and make a commitment to pray for their salvation on a daily basis.

Monthly Spiritual

Growth Challenge

Every month we set new specific goals for spiritual growth.  For the month of February we encourage you to guard your heart.

Your treasure is your priorities. For some people this is their spouse, their kids, their hobby, their career. You reveal your priorities with your time, money and attention. Choose this month to make your relationship with God an intentional priority. Give Him more of your time, money and attention and don’t let other things cut into the times you’ve set aside for Him.
Matthew 6:21 - For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Annual Spiritual

Growth Challenge

We believe that God’s will for all believers is that they become spiritually mature. God reveals His heart, will, and nature through His Word. When we fail to read ALL of God's Word, we miss out on opportunities to discover the character and personality of God. Choose this year to push the boundaries of your faith, striving towards spiritual maturity by joining us in reading the whole Bible in 2020!

"In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God's word all over again. You need milk not solid food! Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil." Hebrews 5:12-14
