God’s creation – including human beings – was perfect – no sickness or brokenness.(Genesis 1:31)

But we are all sick / broken in various ways. What happened?

Sickness / brokenness came into the world with sin – sickness of spirit – which caused sickness of soul - and soon of body. (Romans 5:12)

God, in His grace and mercy, provided for healing in all three areas through the cross of Jesus. (Isaiah 53:4-5)

Eternal life begins when we put our faith in the blood of Jesus as payment for all our sins and, from that moment on, we are new creations. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Our sick (actually dead) spirits come alive - and all the resources of God for the healing of our souls and bodies are available to us through that same blood of Jesus.

"By His Divine Power, God has given us everything we need for living a Godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the One who called us to Himself..." (2 Peter 1:3)

Living in this world is hard, but God is clear that even now, through His life in us - we are equipped with everything we need to thrive!

Even though medical and mental health professionals agree that our thought patterns are responsible for a significant amount of the mental, emotional, and physical distress which we experience in our lives, surprisingly, most people don't realize this. Wisdom for healing begins by thinking in ways that lead us to Godly - therefore healthy choices. (Proverbs 3:7-8)

God says that He is the sources of wisdom and that He will give it freely to us when we ask Him. (Proverbs 2:6 and James 1:5)

God's Word, the Bible, is where we find God's wisdom - and prayer is communicating with God about how to apply His wisdom to our lives.

In H.E.A.R.T.S Ministry, trained leaders will guide and teach you how to discover God's Wisdom in the Bible, and how to communicate with God in prayer so you can receive His help in applying His wisdom in your own life situations.

Is H.E.A.R.T.S. psychological counseling or therapy?

No. H.E.A.R.T.S. is ministry based on God’s wisdom as He has revealed it in the Bible. We believe that God is the creator of all and that the truth of His Word, addresses all human situations as we seek His wisdom in prayer.

Do I need to have a relationship with God in order to benefit from this ministry?

No. God’s wisdom is truth – His principles of living bring healthy results on in our lives here on earth. However, no one is truly able to follow God’s ways without the power of His Presence in their life and it is only in a personal relationship with Jesus that our eternal destiny is life.

Are my sessions confidential?

Yes, The communications between you and your ministry leader will be considered confidential except to the extent disclosure is required by law or in other instances in which the counselor learns of potential threats of harm to self or others.
